The foundation ASKO EUROPA-STIFTUNG and European Academy of Otzenhausen will further strengthen their cooperation in the fields of development, preparation and organisation of educational programmes and study visits and therefore combine their forces in the future.

The substantive and project-related work was brought together under the umbrella of European Academy of Otzenhausen at the beginning of 2012. The pooling of activities in Otzenhausen aims to develop European Academy of Otzenhausen further as one of the most modern conference centres of the Greater Region and to extend the educational programmes. This initiative makes sure that synergy effects are exploited and the competence and performance of both the foundation and European Academy are increased.

New directions were also taken in the field of management.

As of December 31, 2011 Stefan Mörsdorf withdrew from the management of the foundation and joined the management of European Academy of Otzenhausen on January 1, 2012.
