Young European Federalists

The Junge Europäischen Föderalisten Deutschland e.V. (JEF) (JEF, Young European Federalists Germany) are a non-party political youth organisation in Germany and have been campaigning since 1949 for a democratically united Europe. The JEF Germany has more than 3,000 members and is part of the European JEF-movement with about 30,000 activists.

In April 2016, the ASKO Europa-Stiftung and the association "Partners for Europe" are a long-term cooperation agreement with the JEF. The organisations agree that information and commitment of young people to Europe must be promoted to the best of their ability and that the idea of European federalism must be a groundbreaking concept. Furthermore, the voice of young people must be increasingly represented in the political process.

As the political lobby of the pro-European, federalist youth, the JEF contributes the voluntary commitment of its members and its board, the expertise of its members in terms of content, the expertise on youth education and activities as well as the commitment to joint fundraising.

Together with the ASKO Europa-Stiftung, the European Academy of Otzenhausen, the Stiftung europäische Kultur und Bildung and the Europa-Union Saar, JEF organise seminars, youth meetings and conferences.
