Arno-Krause-Award of the ASKO Europa-Stiftung

The semester opening ceremony of the Europa-Institut on 28 October 2024 in the auditorium of Saarland University once again provided the appropriate setting for the presentation of the Arno Krause Prize. This year, the prize was awarded for the tenth time by the ASKO Europa-Stiftung.

The Arno Krause Prize was awarded as a team prize to two groups of students from the Europa-Institut at Saarland University who took part in the Vis Moot Court in Vienna and the EuroSim simulation of European decision-making processes in Brockport, USA. The 20 students achieved outstanding results.

Since 2016, the Foundation has awarded its own prize - the Arno Krause Prize - for the best achievements of graduates of the Master's program "European and International Law" at the Europa-Institut of Saarland University. With its prize, the foundation honors outstanding achievements in the world's largest transnational competitions VISMoot and FDI Moot for international business law and arbitration as well as EuroSim, the world's largest simulation of European decision-making processes. In all three awards university teams from all over the world compete against each other under the guidance of academic mentors and team leaders.
